I had a mix of experiences at The Watson Hotel. The location was fantastic, being a short walk from Central Park and Columbus Circle. However, my room felt dated and I had some unsettling encounters with bugs. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the overall cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired.

Rooms
5.0
My room was spacious, but it definitely showed its age with dated decor and a lack of proper ventilation. The TV was the only modern feature, and I encountered bugs during my stay, which was alarming.
Service
6.0
The staff at the reception desk were friendly and tried to be helpful, but I didn't feel a strong eagerness to assist when I had issues with my booking. Overall, their service was decent but not impressive.

The hotel's location was a major highlight, conveniently situated close to Central Park, Times Square, and various restaurants. I appreciated being so close to key attractions.
Dining

While the on-site dining options seemed decent, I was disappointed that there were no late-night food options available at the hotel, and I had to venture out for a meal.
Facilities

The rooftop pool was a nice feature, and I enjoyed the lively atmosphere at the bar, but overall, the hotel facilities felt a bit lacking in maintenance.

I just got back from a week at The Watson Hotel and honestly had a blast! The location couldn’t be better for jumping all over Manhattan and I loved that there were tons of good places to eat nearby. However, there are some things that could use an upgrade. The hotel is definitely a bit dated, especially in the bathrooms, which could really use some TLC.

Rooms

My room was spacious enough for my needs, perfect for a family stay, though it felt a little worn. The beds were comfy, but the pillows were way too firm for my liking.

I encountered some great staff who were super helpful and friendly, but there was a not-so-great moment at check-in when the attitude was a bit off.

My stay at The Watson Hotel had its ups and downs. The room was spacious and offered a quiet refuge in the bustling city, but I did experience a slight hiccup during check-in. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Times Square and Central Park, and the rooftop pool was a highlight for relaxation. However, the service experience wasn't consistent, as I encountered some disappointing aspects during my visit.

The room was large and quite comfortable, providing a great view from the 12th floor. I appreciated the coffee machine for that cozy morning brew. Still, I had to switch rooms due to an unpleasant smell in my first assignment.
Service

While the staff showed kindness at times, my overall experience with customer service was mixed. There were moments when I felt overlooked, particularly when it came to the billing process at the bar.
Location

The location was fantastic. Just a 15-minute walk from Times Square, I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of Hell's Kitchen, filled with dining options and nightlife. The easy access to public transportation was also a plus.

My stay at The Watson Hotel was a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore Central Park and Times Square. However, the outdated room left much to be desired, with issues like limited air conditioning and cleanliness concerns. Overall, it was decent for the price, but I was hoping for a bit more comfort during my stay. 😕🏙️

The location is excellent! It’s within walking distance to major attractions like Central Park and Time Square, plus there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. This really enhanced my overall experience.

I found the dining options on-site to be okay, though they were a little pricy. Breakfast had various choices that were decent but didn’t quite measure up to expectations, especially compared to European standards.
Facilities

Facilities included a rooftop pool, which sounds fun, but I didn’t get a chance to use it. The hotel also offers room service, which is convenient, though I didn’t utilize it during my stay.
